Jonathan Anak Galan is a Malaysian-Iban Dayak Director of Photography & Filmmaker based in New York.

He graduated from Arizona State University with a degree in Film & Media Production, studying Cinematography under C.A. Griffith & Costume & Fabric design with Connie Furr. Since then, Jonathan has been featured at an NBA Brooklyn Nets Game, the Barclays Center, Billboard.com, an actual billboard near Madison Square Garden, the Scottsdale Museum of Modern & Contemporary Art, the Borneo Times, as well as his mother's whatsapp groups. Clients include Rent the Runway, e.l.f. Cosmetics, Dunkin, Shiseido, and Wonton Food Inc.

He loves candy, and fawns over vintage lenses, is obsessed with window shopping, eating, & basketball shoes.
